Verizon's CDMA smartphones are unable to support simultaneous voice and data but the upcoming HTC Thunderbolt may change that trend. A leaked training document indicates that this upcoming Verizon Wireless smartphone will support simultaneous voice and data where LTE 4G service is available.

Verizon Wireless announced at CES 20111 that not all of its LTE 4G smartphones would support simultaneous voice and data. This makes the HTC Thunderbolt more attractive to consumers.

Well, not that it isn't a formidable device already. The Thunderbolt features an impressive feature set that includes HTC Sense 2.0, Skype mobile with video, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 4.3 inch WVGA display, Dolby surround sound, 8-megapixel camera and HD video recording, wireless DLNA capability.
