Sprint has already introduced three WiMAX 4G smartphones but it appears that Verizon's first LTE 4G smartphone can compete against them. Rumors recently outed a high-end smartphone called the HTC Thrunderbolt. This device is being rumored as the first Verizon Wireless LTE 4G smartphone.
The HTC Thunderbolt is expected to feature a 4.3-inch screen, 1.2GHz Snapdragon dual-core processor, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with dual-LED flash, a 5 megapixel front-facing camera and Android 2.3.
This rumored LTE 4G smartphone may also provide Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, aGPS, 16GB of internal storage, micro-SD card slot (compatible up to 128GB), 1800mAh battery.
