Cheaper MetroPCS LTE 4G Plans and New Markets

MetroPCS may not be considered as a major force in the US 4G competition but the prepaid carrier is working hard to attract consumers. The company has decided to introduce a revised set of plans for its burgeoning Long Term Evolution Network. MetroPCS also mentioned the markets where it expects to expand LTE throughout 2011, including Atlanta, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando and Tampa.

The new MetroPCS LTE& 4G plans start at $40 per month, which provides unlimited talk, text, 4G Web browsing, and YouTube. The $50 per month 4G plan adds international text messaging, turn-by-turn navigation, mobile IM, corporate email, and 1GB of data. And finally users can purchase the $60 plan will provide additional goodies such as unlimited data access and MetroStudio content, including video and audio on-demand.

Since MetroPCS is a prepaid carrier, none of the new plans requires a contract.
