What do you think of the iPhone 5 and iPad 2 with support for LTE 4G? I think it's an awesome combination. The high-end features of Apple's mobile devices combined with the blazing speeds of a LTE 4G network. But will this become a reality? Well, Verizon Wireless CEO Dan Mead recently indicated in an interview with the Wall Street Journal that Apple will eventually offer devices that support the carrier's Long Term Evolution 4G network.

This sounds like good news for Apple fans and Verizon Wireless subscribers. However, Mead did not mention any specifics or release dates. But the key word here is "eventually." LTE 4G seems to be rising at the moment and Apple will recognize the need to exploit the advantages of this high-speed wireless network.

There's a small chance that we see an Apple decide with LTE 4G this year but I'm confident that they will hit the market in the next few years.
